Photos From This Week
Hello Lovely Swiger Family!!
I know it's been a while since I've posted anything so....here are some pictures of our week! (And a few comments from me :)) Enjoy!
Our week began with, in my opinion, the prettiest rainbow in probably ever. It was amazing. The cool part was that it actually stretched over our house and we could see the other side from the back yard. I was quite impressed that it was a full arc. :)
Of course it wouldn't be summer without artsy projects ;) We started the tie dying process yesterday after i was forced to come to grips with the fact that i just can't dye everything i own. I've discovered that it is seriously hard to stop coloring things once you start. Its just so fun!
And here are the results! They looked absolutely awesome until we strayed away from the directions a little....that, or our washer has some serious problems. But I'm just going to go with the direction theory. ;) Anyways, they don't look that bad, there's just a whole lot of gray where the white is... At least ill have some new pajama shirts.
Another share-worthy event that happened this week is that i finally got into Osceola!! :) I am now officially enrolled! My mom took my final grades from last year in on thursday and singed me up for my electives (!!!!!!!!). One of which is Spanish 4. I'm a little afraid, but im hoping I'll do good. :) Who knows, i may end up spending some time in a Spanish speaking country one day. ;)
I miss you guys sooooo much!!! I hope all is well in Costa Rica!

My School Project
Wow. This was the longest i have ever been serious...seriously. I was having a hard time keeping a straight face despite the subject matter. Its a school project i though id post it.
Hi Swigers! I know i told you guys i would be cutting off from blogging but i am posting this because it was a health class assignment I thought i'd show you guys. My mom suggested i show you. I worked really hard, its supposed to be like a commercial thing to raise awareness about teen choices involving drugs and stuff. I'm going to post the bloopers later because i like them better. but here this is. Tell me what you think of oh so serious anna ;)

Update: Sorry
Hi Swiger Family!
I am so sorry to say that i will be taking a short break form vlogging for a little while :(. Due to my sudden rush to finish school in an appropriate amount of time i will be boycotting a lot of other things as well...like technology: phone, twitter and other great, but not helpful, things: smoothies, you know, all the essential stuff needed to procrastinate. ;) I'll be sure to celebrate with a video blog as soon as im done (should be after next week though). I just wanted to let you guys know, though I'm still pretty sure I'll see you on skype ;).

Florida Bugs.
Dear Beth and Skip,
I've been having a problem lately that i think you guys can relate to. It's been twice in the past three weeks that ive found myself staring a palmetto bug 3 feet from me. Ewwwwwww. My mom and dad are over my behavior (crying and screaming). I am over Florida's conditions. Are the bugs there less scary? Because i think this past event alone (in which i found one in my room less than 10 min. ago) is pushing me very far to coming to be with you.
I don't think people like my mom and dad really grasp the kinda thinks a palmetto bug encounter does to a person.
A. they become afraid (and jumpy) at the slightest movement, or sight, of anything unexpected. i mean, ANYTHING.
B. people like to tease said "scared person" till the point of tears. People like my dad and brother (and skip i guess would do the same thing). Do they like seeing me hurt my back because of the spasm i get when the run their hands across my arm? Come on guys. What would Jesus do?
C.they become sleep deprived and itchy. If the bug comes near the bed (which in this case did), theres no way they'll sleep peacefully in it for days. And they often find themselves itching all over. It IS possible they could have crawled on you...even though you saw them die.
Though all this may not apply to you, i had to let you know. I am very disturbed and im hoping maybe my mom will read this and understand me a little better. Im hoping. But she'll probably laugh. Oh well. maybe ill see you guys in Costa Rica one day...i better go buy a lottery ticket...

Video Blog #2
I know that i told you guys that the video would be posted towards the end of the week but i just couldn't wait. With Louisa gone, and Penelope soon to follow, i thought I'd upload it before id have to start changing information in the video in order to be up to date. The main thing i have to say I've learned through this video is that you should never press your luck with fish. No matter what pet store people say, betta fish, female or not, can't live together happily in a bowl....Penelope has only one fin left to prove that theory.
This video also shows some preparations for my dad's birthday, as well as some stuff regarding mother's day.

Update
Hello Swiger Family,
I would like you all to know that video #2 is officially underway! :) This blogging thing is fun! Video #2 will take a little longer to put together and will probaly be done around the end of next week. So for now i will write...As you know today's my dad's birthday. Sadly he feels that its okay to leave us for iron man :( that one hurts. But hey, I'm making the most of it at least (you'll see in the video ;)). Our fish are doing well...well most of them. Josh and Amanda's catfish has to keep being "checked on" (that mean they shine a light on him and poke him with the little net). poor guy. I hope he can last longer then I'm guessing, I'll let you know if we have to take his little fishy body back for the 14 day guaranteed refund...
I would also like to share with you (even though its already on facebook) my excitement about the fact that i drove all the way to and from the bank! Without hitting anyone or anything! I only got honked at once (mom told me it wasn't me fault) and i stayed at the correct speed limit the whole time!....Though it did kinda bother me that my mom had her hand clenched over the emergency brake the whole time. What was that about? Oh well.
As always, I hope you're enjoying Costa Rica! And don't worry about me spending so much time blogging, i think its so fun! :)

Taaa Daaaa!
Hello dear Swiger family! :)
I cannot wait till i can figure out how to upload videos to you! I'm so exited to start blogging for you guys. It'll be like your actually here, more often than usual...Anyways, i think this will be a good chance for me to practice with making videos on movie maker, and maybe ill further improve my spelling skills, who knows. ;) I'll try to put up the first video a little later.
